“Bharat Business & Leisure” is an educational and entertaining board game designed for children aged 5 and above. The game can be played by 2-4 players.
The game takes players on an exciting journey across India, teaching them about the country’s rich cultural heritage, diverse states/UTs and cities of Bharat, significance of major cities, notable Bharat Ratna awardees, Nobel Awardees of Bharat, Other personalities, Biosphere Reserves in Bharat, UNESCO heritage sites in Bharat, Nuclear plants in Bharat, prestigious Educational institutions besides highlighting important aspects of Bharat’s economy.
Through engaging game play and interactive challenges, children would learn about Business & Leisure hotspots in Bharat and gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of India’s geography, economy, history and cultural diversity.
Objective:
Players travel across Bharat, visit various states and UTs and collect knowledge cards and complete challenges. While knowledge and strategic planning are key components of “Bharat Business & Leisure”, the inclusion of dice rolls & Chance ensures that even players who might not be strong in strategy have a shot at winning thereby keeping level of excitement high due to possible chance of winning. This balance keeps the game dynamic & engaging for all players as the outcome can be influenced by a lucky roll making game unique & exciting.
Game Components:
–Game Board: A colorful game board having various states and UTs of Bharat, special
Investment sites and other special sites where players have opportunity to do business &
leisure.
–State/UT Knowledge Cards: Contain facts like capital of state/UT and various important \
cities in state/UT duly highlighting importance of each place and also business and leisure
hotspots. Cards also highlight important UNESCO heritage sites in India, Biosphere reserves
and Nuclear sites.
–Bharat Ratna Awardee Knowledge Cards: Contain facts like name of Bharat Ratna \
Awardee, year in which award was won, state to which awardee belongs and brief on
achievement.
–Nobel Awardee Knowledge Cards: Contain facts like name of Nobel Awardee from
Bharat and brief on achievement.
–Star Cards: Contain facts on achievements of certain personalities who have made
invaluable contribution to Bharat but are not Bharat Ratna Awardees/Nobel Awardees.
–Special Cards: Contain certain special cards like RBI, UNESCO Sites, Railways, Airways,
Roadways etc that are linked to strategy to Win the game through one of the ways.
–Education Institution Selector: Gives an insight of various IITs, IIMs and AIIMs in India
and enable children to select an institution of choice state/UT wise.
–Card Selector: Enables children to select Bharat Ratna Awardee card, Nober Awardee card
and star card of choice to complete a challenge to win.
–Bank Notes: Game contains bank notes of various denominations to enable players to
buy/sell various assets in states/UTs or pay taxes/fee for Business, Leisure or other
purposes.
–Play Accesories: This includes a dice, pawns and huts for movement on board and
placement in various states/UTs investment assets/Education Institution.
–Rules to play the Game: Rule Book in English describes various rules of the game that
enable children to have a fun filled time on Board Game.
Gameplay:
1. Setup: Each player chooses an Avatar and places it at the starting point on the game board.
Organize the Knowledge Cards and Bank notes and place them in separate decks. One
player can act as a Banker.
2. Movement: Players take turns rolling the dice to move across the board, aiming to reach
different states and UTs. They can choose to make investment in various states/UTs of
their choice and collect knowledge cards.
3. Knowledge Cards:A player can get Knowledge Card on reaching various block if She/He
chooses to make Investment. At places player gets free Knowledge card as per rules of the
game.
4. Winning the Game: There are 3 ways in which a player can win the game:
Through a dice Roll as a Chance.
A player is able to collect each of Bharat Ratna Awardee Card, Nobel Awardee Card and a Star card using luck and strategy.
A player is able to generate wealth and collect a required amount through luck and strategy.
